VISITING US
We're glad you decided to visit us online today.
A little background for you - The United Reformed Church was established in 1972 when the Presbyterians, Congregationalists and Churches of Christ got together. Emmanuel has been around since the mid 19th century.
Being at the centre of the community gives us wonderful opportunities to provide service in a number of meaningful areas.

Morning worship takes place each Sunday from 10am.

One of our popular services takes place on the third Sunday morning of each month when we share All Age worship together. We have a small but active ministry to children and young people, catering for toddlers right up to teens.

Holy Communion takes place on the 1st Sunday of the month.
All are welcome to take part and we encourage children to participate in the sacrament.
We also hold a monthly service on a Thursday afternoon.
-
What is your worship styleOur worship is a mix of modern and traditional styles of music and bible study.
-
Do you have a crècheWe have a crèche area just off the Worship area, where there are toys available for very young children and the service is relayed through a speaker so their carers can still hear the service.
-
What should I wear to Church?Anything you like. Don't give a second thought to what you're wearing. We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than what you wear. Dress usually ranges from blue jeans and t-shirts to business suits and ties - all are welcome!
-
How do I get involved?By coming to meet us…….sharing in our activities and worship, joining a home-group and helping in our service-projects. Those who welcome you on arrival can introduce you to one of church Elders who would be happy to assist you in finding the way that feels most appropriate for you initially.
-
Do you have parking? There is car parking at the rear of the church with spaces for approximately 30 vehicles. Limited on street parking is also available in Tweed Close.
-
Do you have wheelchair/disabled accessability?Yes, we have wheel chair access to all ground floor areas and a separate disabled toilet.
